What do you want the students to feel in your class?
Free to take the foundations of breakin and make it their own…be as creative as possible!
What do you focus on when you teach and what will they expect?
I teach foundations and progressive steps so students can learn to put their own sets together and prepare to battle or cypher.
How should the students be prepared for your class?
Clothing? Loose fitting clothing, Knee/ elbow pads, beenies and flexible shoes (no bare feet).
Thoughts? Be prepared to TRY everything…breaking is not a dance that you can pick up in 1 lesson..it takes alot of practice to master the moves and style.
What are your 3 favorite moments as an Artist/ Dancer/ Choreographer?
1-Travelling on tour to Europe and UK with Stalker Theatre and Tom Tom Crew 2008/2009!
2-Supporting artists such as Grand Master Flash, Africa Bambatta, Hilltop Hoods, Method Man, Redman- performing infront of massive crowds!
3-Travelling and meeting breakers that I have looked up too at random training spots around the world.
