How do you describe your style of movement/ Dance?

I think the best way to describe my style of movement/dance would be quirky  and stylistic. I am incredibly inspired by music and many different kinds of it and as a choreographer i really try and put my body into the music and FEEL IT, even if that sometimes means putting my body in extremely demented shapes and finding very obscure grooves. If i were to put a genre on my style of movement it would be a fusion of Contemporary/Hip Hop/Jazz. Contemporary for the artistic freedom of it, Hip Hop for the raw essence of it and Jazz for the slight touch of technique through lines of the body……

What do you want the students to feel in your class?

I want students to come to my class with an extremely open mind. I want them to feel completely comfortable in their own skin and to take my choreographer and put it into their own movement system. I love nothing more than seeing a class full of completely different feels and interpratations of my choreography. But mostly i want my students to leave my class feeling inspired and encouraged to think outside the box……

What do you focus on when you teach and what will they expect?

I want my class to be an incredibly comfortable and creative environment. My main focus in a classroom is to encourage uniqueness and confidence. People should be expected to be taken outside of their comfort and to have an experience that’s a little out of the ord……. but i know your gonna love it! come onnnnnnnnnnnn ohhhhhhh yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

How should the students be prepared for your class?
Clothing?
Thoughts?

Come in clothing that you are most comfortable in, whether it be sneakers, barefoot, trackpants, tights, hell, COME NAKED! nah just kidding i want everybody to be completely comfortable and relaxed, so come to class as YOU….. come with an open mind because were gonna be getting a little freaky!

What are your 3 favorite moments as an Artist/ Dancer/ Choreographer?

1. Being a part of the Top 20 of SYTYCD series 2, this experience would probably have to be my favourite as it has opened many doors and really confirmed my style of movement and the direction i wanted to take my dance in my head..

2. Touring ‘Cats’ The musical throughout Asia….. getting to travel at such a young age with such an amazing show was a really life-changing experience for me…. definatley learnt alot of things on this Tour.

3. Starting my very own production company with my best mates in the world… awwwww…… A-Live Reppin!
